Apple appealed to the federal court for a stay of the ban, but the damage was already done. The Christmas season found Apple unable to sell its Watch Series 9 and Watch Ultra 2 in stores.

Current Status of Apple Watch Sales

The banned Apple Watch models were pulled from both Apple’s online and offline stores, while third-party retailers were allowed to sell their existing stock until it was depleted. At present, the ban has been put on pause, and Apple can resume sales, at least until the next court hearing scheduled for January 12, 2024.
