After Himanshu Tandon, the country head of POCO India, teased that the POCO X6 Series will be launched sometime in January of the upcoming year, the brand didn’t waste any time in releasing a teaser confirming its official launch accompanied by the reveal of its main specifications.

Indian Flipkart Website Offers Glimpse into POCO X6 Series Details

India’s Flipkart website has disclosed details about the POCO X6 Series, although it has not been confirmed how many models will be included in this family. However, the POCO X6 Pro is certain to be seen harnessing the top-level Mediatek Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor, which promises performance comparable to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

FCC Certifies X6 Pro with Multiple Storage Options

The FCC has already certified the X6 Pro model, providing two storage options for choice: 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM and 12GB RAM + 512GB ROM. These specifications are expected to be a rebrand from the already launched Redmi K70E in China.

Anticipated Features of the POCO X6 Pro Based on Redmi K70E

Looking at the Redmi K70e suggests that the POCO X6 Pro will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, boasting a maximum brightness of 1,800 nits and support for 1920Hz PWM high-frequency dimming. It is said to be powered by the Dimensity 8300 Ultra CPU, 8/12GB LPDDR5X RAM plus 256/512GB UFS 4.0 storage, running on Android 14 with HyperOS overlay, and equipped with a 5500mAh battery with 67W fast charging—which is a step down from the Redmi K70e’s 90W charging.
