The sub-brand of vivo, iQOO, is set to unveil its Neo9 and Neo9 Pro smartphones at a special event scheduled for December 27. The official confirmation of the event is creating anticipation as the date nears. With the launch approaching, prototype holders are initiating performance benchmarks, signaling an imminent in-depth look at the devices’ capabilities.

Neo9 Pro Benchmark Scores Revealed

The iQOO Neo9 Pro was recently spotted in the Geekbench online database, where a unit underwent Geekbench 6 testing. The device achieved a noteworthy single-core score of 2,235 and a multi-core score of 7,381, providing a glimpse at its processing proficiency.

Powerful Hardware Specifications of Neo9 Pro

Equipped with MediaTek’s top-of-the-line Dimensity 9300 SoC, the tested Neo9 Pro also featured a substantial 16GB of RAM. Given that multiple memory configurations are common, alternative RAM variations of the device may also be available. The benchmarked Neo9 Pro operated on Android 14, which is expected to be integrated with Funtouch OS 14 for international markets and Origin OS 4 in China.

Neo9 to Feature Different Chipset and Impressive Display

While the Neo9 Pro boasts MediaTek’s chipset, the standard Neo9 is rumored to incorporate the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Prospective buyers can also look forward to the Neo9 Pro’s 6.78-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,260×2,800 and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. This Pro model should offer up to 512GB of storage, a 50 MP main camera, a 16 MP front camera, an in-display fingerprint reader, and a large 5,000 mAh battery with the capability of 120W fast wired charging.
