Honor has unveiled its latest flagship contender in the Chinese market, the Honor 90 GT. This smartphone boasts top-tier specifications, including last year’s high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, an overwhelming 24GB of RAM as an option, and ultra-fast 100W charging capabilities.

Display and Design of Honor 90 GT

The Honor 90 GT features a stunning 6.7-inch AMOLED screen offering a resolution of 1,200 x 2,664 pixels and a swift refresh rate of 120Hz. Additionally, the display has a high 3,840Hz PWM dimming rate, integrates a fingerprint sensor for security, and incorporates a 16MP selfie camera within a subtle punch-hole design.

High-End Camera and Performance Specifications

Photography on the Honor 90 GT is impressive with a 50MP primary camera equipped with a Sony IMX906 sensor and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), complemented by a 12MP ultrawide lens. The star hardware feature is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, paired with up to 24GB of RAM, setting a new record for Honor smartphones. The base model starts with 12GB of RAM, and intermediate versions offer 16GB. Storage options begin at 256GB and extend up to a massive 1TB.

Battery Life, Operating System, and Pricing

The Honor 90 GT runs on MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 14 and is supported by a robust 5,000 mAh battery complemented by 100W rapid charging technology. It comes in an array of colors: Black, Blue, and Gold. Pricing is competitive, starting at CNY 2,599 ($365) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant and reaches up to CNY 3,699 ($520) for the top-of-the-line model with 24GB RAM and 1TB of storage. The device will be available for purchase in China starting December 26.
